Correct NVR Camera Cabling On-Site
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
The security feed at my construction site in San Diego, CA is down because the data switch and the NVR switch were re-wired in reverse after recent works. More than 10 IP cameras are now patched into the wrong switch ports, while the NVR is sitting on the data network. I need someone to visit the site, trace every run, and put each cable back where it belongs so the cameras are once again visible in the NVR interface.
This is just changing cables, no tools are required. It would be good to bring a data test tool or toner in case there is some unknown/errant cable we need to identify.
