5k short horror story for anthology
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
The anthology is called "Letters from Marshalltown", it is a collection of short stories that all tell different tales from the same messed up small town named Marshalltown in the southern part of Indiana (location is fictional). I am just running short on page count, with the stories that I already have added. The editor would like to see it up to at least 185 but we are shy.
The concept behind the project is sort of like "The King in Yellow" by Robert W. Chambers mixed with "Castle Rock" which is a show on Hulu (not sure if you are geoblocked from Hulu where you are). Each story adds a bit more flavor to the town, and shows that the area may be cursed. That bit is from one of the stories, but I digress.
We have locations already established (which I can elaborate on if you feel like taking on the gig) as well as some of the people in the town, like who the sheriff has been the last few years, who was the sheriff before hand, a state Detective, a few residents, ect.
