Science Fiction Romance Sample
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a 5K sample from a short story. Outline will be provided to winning bidders.
Should be able to match a current writing style (sample novel will be also be provided to winning bidders.)
Please only apply if you're very familiar with science fiction romance and reader expectations in that genre (alpha male, fated mate, possesive mate, banter, etc) and have excellent English skills (spelling, grammar, etc.)
We are looking for writers we can have long term relationships with, who are native English writers with an excellent grasp of English and storytelling tropes.
We prefer stories that are a little bit funny, with heroines who can stand up for themselves, and heroes that may look like ruffians, but are gentlemen underneath.
Must be comfortable writing spice, and very familiar with the current tropes.
This is for an ongoing series of science fiction romance novellas, so communication and ability to take long term work is also key.

We will pay $50 for the sample or .01 per word if things run a little long.
Ideal turn around would be 5-10 days.
We will set a milestone for the first 1000 words so that we can be sure we're on the same page. If at that point the quality is not what we are looking for, we will ask you to revise, or cancel the project.
Successful candidates will need to sign a contract that we own all rights to content, that content is original, and will not be used elsewhere. Your name will not be listed on the finished product.
Content must be 100% original. It will be run through plagscan and copyscape. There will be no payment if there is evidence of plagiarism.
