Kindle eBook Formatting & Layout
Budget: £10 – £20 GBP
I’m preparing a fiction title for Amazon KDP and need a formatting expert to turn my raw Word manuscript and illustrations into a Kindle-ready file. The narrative is text-driven, but each illustration should appear as a full-page image, so the layout must balance clean, re-flowable text with eye-catching, edge-to-edge artwork.
You’ll handle everything from front-matter through back-matter—proper metadata, clickable table of contents, clean chapter breaks, and image optimization that meets Amazon’s current guidelines. I expect a professional look on all common Kindle devices without odd line breaks, orphaned headers, or pixelated graphics.
Deliverables
• Final .KPF or .EPUB file ready for KDP upload
• Source file (InDesign, Vellum, or equivalent) in case minor updates are needed later
• Brief hand-off notes outlining image specs and any style sheets used
If you’ve tackled fiction with full-page illustrations before and know how to keep both the prose and the pictures looking sharp on Kindle, let’s talk.
