Dramatic Fiction Audiobook Production
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I'm looking for a professional audiobook producer to help me turn my fiction manuscript into a compelling, serious and dramatic audiobook.
This project requires:
- A narrator who can deliver a serious , engaging tone who is able to bring the emotion into the story so when the character is angry i need to be able to tell that they are in fact angry it needs to be believable. There is a lot of profanity in the story so only apply if you are comfortable. This is based in the 80s so you would need to be able to replicate an 80s newscasters voice too.
IMPORTANT: I need to hear the voices of most of the main characters which is why the audition script is quite lengthy, otherwise i cannot make a proper decision on whether you would be fit for the role, this is important in case you record like 1 or 2 minutes instead of the full piece. If you do have time to do the entire piece it should be at a minimum one sentence from each character, so i can at least hear an example of how you portray each voice. Because there are a variety of characters, teens, adults, teachers, a Sheriff etc. If you can do a mid-western accent this would be a bonus but not entirely necessary.
- The ability to incorporate character voices throughout the story
Ideal skills and experience include:
- Previous work in fiction audiobook production
- Voice acting experience
- High-quality audio editing skills
