Senior Python Developer
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m building a new finance-focused application and need a solid Python developer with experience in fast api, swagger, postgresql to turn my functional ideas into production-ready code. The exact feature mix is still being prioritised; we may venture into areas such as portfolio tracking, automated trading, or deeper risk-management analytics depending on how the roadmap evolves. Likewise, third-party components—ranging from live market data feeds to payment or accounting APIs—will be chosen once the core modules take shape.
What I do know is that I want someone with around 3–5 years of hands-on Python experience who is comfortable designing clean, modular architecture, writing well-tested code, and iterating quickly as requirements sharpen. You should feel at home with standard financial-data libraries, RESTful integrations, and Git-based workflows. If you can also advise on best practices for security, performance, and deployment, even better.
Deliverables on our first milestone will be:
• A small, well-structured prototype repository that compiles and runs
• Basic documentation outlining setup, key modules, and next steps
• A short call or walkthrough so I’m clear on how to extend the code
Once the proof of concept is polished, we’ll move into full feature build-out and ongoing improvements. If this sounds like a project where you can add value, let’s talk.
