Senior Backend Developer (Flask → FastAPI, Celery+Redis, Security, Multi-Server Architecture)

Job ID: 39784303

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I am looking for a senior backend developer with strong experience in Flask, FastAPI, Celery, Redis, and security (encryption/decryption) to help refactor and optimize my existing project for production.

Currently, my project is built in Flask, but I need it migrated to FastAPI while maintaining the existing route structure (no added prefixes, since routes are already connected to the frontend).

Scope of Work:

Migration: Convert existing Flask services into FastAPI while keeping all routes intact.

Background Processing: Integrate Celery + Redis for handling heavy tasks efficiently.

Thread Management: Optimize multi-threading to handle heavy concurrent users.

Security Enhancements: Implement strong encryption and decryption mechanisms, especially for sensitive modules (e.g., chat).

Multi-Server Setup:

Server 1: Handles core services.

Server 2: Handles community features (including chat). Improve chat by implementing end-to-end encryption.

Frontend Integration: Implement URL encoding support for React + Vite (.tsx) frontend code.

New Service Integration: Add an existing Pitch Deck Service to Server 1 and enhance it for production use.

Performance Optimization: Ensure the project is production-ready, highly scalable, and optimized for heavy traffic.

Requirements:

Including a New Architecture for the Fastapi, celery+redi, security and Thread management .

Proven experience migrating projects from Flask → FastAPI.

Expertise with Celery, Redis, and async task management.

Strong knowledge of security best practices (encryption/decryption, JWT, HTTPS).

Experience in multi-server architecture and chat system optimization.

Familiarity with React + Vite frontend integration.

Production-grade deployment knowledge (preferably Azure).

Nice to Have:

Prior experience handling real-time chats with encryption.

Experience with pitch deck or document generation services.

Familiarity with Azure Web Apps and containerized deployment.

This project already has most of the code written — the goal is to refactor, migrate, and enhance it for production readiness.
