I’m building a news aggregation platform that automatically ingests stories from NewsAPI, Google News RSS, and region-specific custom feeds.

Core build
• Ingestion & NLP pipeline – FastAPI/Fastify services with durable queues, automatic retries, and real-time metrics
• Admin dashboard – CRUD for sources, health checks, user analytics, ad-zone management, and feature flags, all in a clean Next.js + Tailwind interface.
• Personalization – vector similarity (PostgreSQL + pgvector) to rank content per user, exposed through a low-latency endpoint.
• Infrastructure – Dockerised services deployed to Vercel and AWS, with Redis for caching and background jobs.
Add-ons: embeddings-based clustering, Celery or BullMQ task orchestration, GDPR consent flows.

Timeline & next steps
The MVP should be feature-complete in 4–8 weeks, with a clear path to Phase 2 extensions.
