Full-Stack Developer (React (TypeScript), FastAPI, and PostgreSQL) for a Society Management Solution
Budget: ₹5,000 – ₹10,000 INR
We’re expanding an already active society management (apartment/condo/HOA) platform and are hiring additional full-stack developers to collaborate. You’ll own your own milestone/module end-to-end (UI + API + DB), working independently while coordinating via PRs and reviews.
Note: There will be a short screening test before awarding milestones. Qualified candidates will be assigned a module immediately after.
About the Product

A modular, multi-tenant society management solution with global (platform-wide) and society-level roles (e.g., global admin, society admin, resident, gatekeeper). Modules include common society workflows (e.g., visitors, helpdesk, notices, payments/subscriptions, etc.). Details for your assigned module will be shared post-hire.

- React (TypeScript + Vite) frontend, FastAPI + PostgreSQL backend.
- Role-aware layouts/nav, auth scaffolds, and key API routes.
- Docker-based dev environment and Git workflow (feature branches, PRs).
What You’ll Do

- Review and finish one core module end-to-end (UI + API + DB).
- Close gaps between frontend pages and backend endpoints.
- Integrate with role-based layouts/dashboards (global admin + society/tenant roles).
- Test, refine, and take the module to MVP-ready quality.
Collaboration & Milestones

- You’ll be assigned a clear, self-contained milestone with acceptance criteria.
- Work independently on your module; collaborate via PRs/reviews and brief async updates.
- Follow existing coding standards, structure, and conventions.

- Must-have: React (TypeScript), FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Docker.
- Comfortable improving AI-generated scaffolding (ChatGPT/Copilot).
- Git-fluent: feature branching, PRs, rebasing, code reviews.
- Can interpret blueprints/architecture and deliver independently.
Nice to Have

- Multi-tenant SaaS, RBAC, licensing/subscription flows.
- CI/CD, infra as code, Docker-based production pipelines.

Screening Step (Pre-Hire)

Before awarding the project, I’ll share the current codebase. Your task (target: 30–60 minutes for an experienced dev):
- Review the overall structure.
- Fix/ensure RBAC + login works (global + society/tenant levels).
- Run locally via Docker Compose.
- Show a working admin login + dashboard (no full features needed).
This helps validate comfort with:
- FastAPI, React, PostgreSQL
- Docker usage
- ChatGPT-assisted rapid iteration
- Comprehending and extending an existing codebase
If that goes well, we’ll proceed with payment terms and milestone finalization.
Delivery Expectations

- Deliver secure, stable, production-ready code (not just “it works”).
- Fix bugs, logic errors, performance bottlenecks, or security flaws found in review/testing at no extra cost.
- Add/update tests, seed data (where relevant), and basic module docs/README.

Be realistic. AI accelerates delivery—only bid if you actively use ChatGPT/Copilot and can justify fast, high-quality turnaround. React + FastAPI proficiency is non-negotiable.
