FastAPI REST Backend Development
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I’m extending an AI-driven platform that handles multi-step agent evaluation, reasoning analysis, tool-usage scoring and safety checks. To keep the momentum, I need a backend specialist who can design and implement clean, well-documented REST APIs that tie these evaluation pipelines together.
What you’ll tackle
• Shape new endpoints in Python (FastAPI is my current stack, though I’m open to Node.js if it clearly benefits the workflow).
• Connect the API layer to PostgreSQL and Redis, containerised with Docker for easy deployment.
• Wire the services into an existing Next.js dashboard (handled on my side), ensuring smooth data flow and auth.
• Keep scalability in mind—microservice patterns or async processing are welcome where they make sense.
• Write concise tests and swagger/openAPI docs so the evaluation agents and downstream apps can consume the endpoints without surprises.
Acceptance criteria
1. Functional endpoints for agent submission, evaluation status, aggregated scoring and safety flagging.
2. Unit and basic integration tests passing in GitHub Actions (or similar CI).
3. Docker-compose file that spins up the full stack—API, database, cache—ready for staging.
4. Clear API documentation generated straight from code and a brief hand-off note so future iterations stay friction-free.
If you’ve built scalable REST services before—especially around AI workflows—let’s talk and get the first milestone underway.
