FastAPI Microservices Developer
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Description:
We are looking for an experienced FastAPI developer to work on a microservice-based project. The project involves the implementation of 141 API endpoints across several services within an existing microservice architecture. This is a long-term project that will allow you to work at a comfortable pace, ensuring quality and adherence to best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and Implement API Endpoints: You will be responsible for developing 141 API endpoints based on the provided specifications and the existing prototype. The endpoints will follow a microservice architecture and will need to be implemented using FastAPI (class-based views) and PostgreSQL.
• Code Review and Quality Assurance: The code will go through rigorous code reviews and must pass SonarQube quality gateways before approval. Payment will be made only after the code is approved, ensuring that the highest standards are met.
• Maintain and Refine Prototypes: While the core framework and API prototypes are already in place, you will be expected to make necessary adjustments and improvements as you work through the implementation. Your input and expertise in refining the existing prototypes are appreciated.
• Collaboration: You will collaborate with our in-house team to ensure that the microservices integrate seamlessly with our existing architecture. A basic understanding of design patterns is required to ensure that the code is maintainable, scalable, and adheres to industry best practices.
• Follow Existing API Documentation: The project will also involve aligning with existing API documentation, similar to the one provided at https://docs.cvetrack.ai/v1/docs/metrics . Familiarity with following structured API Development is essential.
NOTE: Unittest with testcoderage of 80% is needed for the the gateway to pass.
SIGN UP: For the sample code you can sign up https://gitlab.softlinkweb.com/users/sign_up ( Approval will be done only after the chat )
Tech Stack:
• FastAPI: You should have extensive experience with FastAPI, particularly with class-based views.
• PostgreSQL: Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL is essential, as it is the primary database for this project.
• Design Patterns: A basic understanding of design patterns is necessary to ensure that the microservices are well-architected.
Project Timeline:
This project is designed to be completed in a “slow mode,” meaning you will have ample time for delivery. We value quality over speed and want to ensure that the final product meets all our requirements and standards.
Payment Terms:
Payment will be released only after the code has passed all reviews and quality checks, including SonarQube analysis. This ensures that the code is up to our standards before integration.
How to Apply:
Please submit your application along with examples of similar projects you have completed in the past. Include any relevant experience with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and microservice architectures. If you have experience with SonarQube or other code quality tools, please highlight this in your application.
We look forward to working with a skilled developer who can help bring this project to life while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
