Back-End Developer (FastAPI + Firebase + Python)
Build and integrate missing backend APIs that connect to Firebase (hosted on AWS) and power the dashboard components in real-time.
Replace all dummy/static chart data with live data-driven endpoints that compute values from time-series datasets.
Develop logic that tracks user activity and usage behavior to dynamically show:
Custom charts
Insight summaries
Motivational feedback text based on user trends
Ensure that APIs are scalable, well-structured, and compliant with the existing FastAPI architecture.
Create documentation for the API endpoints postman -
Debug and finalize the 3 primary backend chart components including a three-bar benchmark comparison. Dashboard API Integration
Link frontend components to real backend data from Firebase
Implement user-based filters (e.g., date ranges, weekly trends)
Replace hardcoded charts with dynamic JSON values
User Insight Tracking
Record user data interaction (e.g., selections, emission readings)
Trigger logic that customizes dashboard insights accordingly
Chart + Text Personalization
Show different values/text depending on user history, trends, and baselines
Generate human-readable recommendations based on backend formulas
-Technical Requirements:
FastAPI (including routing, validation, response modeling)
Python (especially with Pandas or NumPy for data processing)
Firebase (Firestore or Realtime DB with Python SDKs)
RESTful API design and Swagger/OpenAPI documentation
Experience with user personalization logic
