We are building SAFADO, a next-generation social & dating platform, and we’re looking for a skilled Backend Developer to help us develop and scale our Advanced Admin Panel and Core Backend Systems.
This role focuses on FastAPI-based backend services, realtime systems, admin workflows, analytics, and platform infrastructure. You’ll work closely with the founder and core team to shape a production-ready, secure, and scalable system.
Key Responsibilities
Admin Panel & Core Backend
Develop secure Admin Panel APIs using Python + FastAPI
Implement role-based access control (Super Admin, Admin, Moderator, Viewer)
Build JWT-based authentication and permission checks
Maintain audit logs and secure session handling
Realtime & Presence Systems
Implement user presence logic (Online / Offline / Away)
Build WebSocket-based realtime updates
Use Redis (Pub/Sub, cache, presence tracking)
Ensure live admin dashboard updates without refresh
User & Moderation Systems
Develop user management APIs (search, filters, pagination)
Implement admin actions (suspend, block, delete, reset password)
Build moderation queues, reports, violation history, and escalation flows
Ensure realtime enforcement and notifications
Payments & Subscriptions
Implement subscription lifecycle tracking
Handle transaction records and revenue logs
Integrate webhook-based payment updates
Maintain audit-ready payment data
Analytics & Growth
Build DAU / WAU / MAU tracking
Implement engagement and session analytics
Create conversion and retention metrics
Optimize queries for performance and scale
AI-Ready Architecture
Prepare backend pipelines for:
Spam & abuse detection
Fake profile scoring
Behavior-based alerts
Ensure modular design for future AI integrations
Required Skills
Must Have
Strong experience with Python
Hands-on experience with FastAPI
Solid understanding of REST APIs & async programming
Experience with PostgreSQL
Knowledge of Redis (cache, Pub/Sub)
JWT authentication and role-based access control
WebSocket or realtime system experience
Nice to Have
Experience with admin dashboards or SaaS platforms
Background jobs & task queues
Experience in social, dating, or real-time apps
Familiarity with analytics systems
Basic DevOps or deployment knowledge
