Women's Workwear Fabric Development
Budget: $750 – $1,500 CAD
I'm seeking an excited individual for textile creation who can develop a unique fabric suitable for WOMEN’S workwear. The fabric must encapsulate the following key qualities:
- Durability: It needs to withstand the rigors of a working environment while maintaining its integrity over time.
- Comfort: The fabric should be soft and pleasant against the skin, allowing for ease of movement and all-day wearability.
- Ease of Maintenance: It should be able to withstand regular washing and still maintain its quality without requiring special care. I would also like to treat this fabric with FR retardant so that it can be used for welding and other hot work for the oil and gas trade
Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in fabric development, particularly but not limited to workwear and women's clothing. A strong understanding of the balance between durability and comfort is desirable, as is the ability to create a fabric that is low-maintenance yet high-performance.
Female applicants that have worked in a trade will be preferred, as they have worked in clothing made for men and understand why it doesn’t work for women
