I’m ready to turn my long-standing love of retro style into a small, market-ready clothing line. I have a clear vision—silhouettes and details inspired by the 1940s-50s—but I need a fashion designer who can transform that vision into production-friendly assets.
Scope
• Refine my mood-board into a cohesive vintage aesthetic, including key fabrics, trims, and color palette.
• Design a 6- to 8-piece capsule (dresses, blouses, skirts, or outerwear—open to your suggestions) with sketches and flats that highlight period-correct details while ensuring modern wearability.
• Create tech packs for each piece: detailed measurements, construction notes, fabric/trim specs, and annotated front-back views suitable for sampling.
• Provide a concise sourcing list for recommended fabrics and trims available today.
• Optional but welcomed: fabric swatch guidance and one round of revisions after initial feedback.
What I’ll share
Reference photos, preliminary silhouettes, budget guidelines for materials, and the target customer profile.
Success looks like
A polished, sample-ready package that a manufacturer can follow without guesswork, capturing the spirit of true vintage while fitting contemporary bodies.
