Trend-Forward Beachwear Designer Needed

The immediate assignment is to shape a capsule of women’s beachwear that feels fresh, international, and unmistakably premium. I need silhouettes that photograph beautifully for e-commerce, travel well in resort settings, and tap into three design signatures we have validated with our audience:
• bold colors and patterns
• a touch of retro nostalgia
• minimalist, clean lines that keep the garments modern

Tasks span the full concept-to-production arc: translating seasonal mood boards into hand or digital sketches, refining those sketches into detailed tech packs, and developing original seamless prints and surface treatments that marry with the chosen fabrics and trims. Adobe Illustrator, CLO 3D, Procreate—use whichever combination you work fastest in, so long as the outputs are clear to our pattern-making and factory partners.

Final deliverables will include:
1. 8–10 illustrated looks (front/back) with colorways
2. matching tech packs with construction notes, BOM, and measurement specs
3. two hero print repeats in vector format, tile-ready at 300 dpi
4. a concise fabric and trim call-out sheet aligned with our luxury positioning

Files must be supplied in AI or PDF for artwork and Excel or Sheets for specs. Accurate grading guidelines and on-brand labeling details will round out the package so production can proceed without re-work.

Research on runway trends and competitor analysis informs the direction, yet every design must retain the brand’s playful sophistication. Communication will be through Slack and weekly video check-ins; quick turnarounds and openness to iteration are essential.
