2000s Style Women Activewear Collection Design
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I want to launch a small women’s activewear capsule that screams early-2000s nostalgia while performing like today’s best gym gear. Think velour-inspired crops, low-rise flared leggings, color-blocked zip hoodies, metallic taping, and the occasional rhinestone logo—everything that made the Y2K era fun, now cut in breathable, high-stretch fabrics.
Scope
The collection will cover tops, bottoms, and fully coordinated sets. I’ll share my brand palette and price targets; you’ll guide the creative from mood-board stage right through to production-ready files. Digital pattern work in CLO3D or Browzwear is welcome, but hand-sketched concepts are fine as long as the tech packs are clear.
Timing
Initial concepts within two weeks, all final deliverables wrapped up inside one month, so the schedule is tight but manageable.
What I’d like to see from you
Show me anything that proves you understand activewear or Y2K aesthetics—past work, experience highlights, or even a quick outline of how you’d tackle the job. A short mood board is a plus but not required.
Deliverables
• 3-5 top designs, 3-5 bottom designs, and 2-3 complete sets
• Fabric( preferably cotton but breathable), trim, and color recommendations suited for performance wear
• Detailed tech packs (measurements, construction notes, artwork placement)
• Print/embellishment files in vector or layered PDF
• A tidy production-ready package I can hand straight to my sample room
