- Create design sketches and measurements based on provided references.
- Develop visual representations to guide design processes and decision-making within the team.
Implementation:
- Utilize your technical foundation and expertise in textiles to translate design sketches into precise patterns.
- Ensure patterns serve as accurate templates for garment construction, considering fit, style, and product engineering.
Environment-Conscious Practices:
- Conduct research to identify and implement sustainable practices throughout the design process.
- Experiment with materials and consider manufacturing methods and environmental impact to create designs that break the mold.
Collaboration and Project Execution:
- Collaborate effectively with our team, ensuring smooth project execution and adherence to project timelines.
- Engage in team meetings, presentations, and other creative communication outlets to share ideas, progress, and work.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, with a portfolio showcasing your design skills and creative vision.
- Strong technical foundation in garment construction, patternmaking, and textiles.
- Experience with performance and/or formalwear construction (bonus).
- Knowledge of sustainable practices and a commitment to incorporating them into the design process.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the design team.
- Proficiency in design software and tools.
- Embodies ethics and integrity in all work, respecting both company and broader community policies in all conduct.
