Luxury Swimwear Patternmaking & Tech Packs
Budget: $1,000 – $2,000 USD
I’m preparing to launch a four-style capsule—an underwire bikini top, its matching mid-rise bottom, and a one-piece both in two patterns. I need an experienced swimwear patternmaker/technical designer to turn my AI-generated mock-ups into production-ready patterns and tech packs.
Fit is everything for this line, so I’m counting on you to engineer a precise underwire cup, dial in mid-rise coverage that stays put, and build a one-piece that sculpts without restricting. I have a clear visual direction and detailed sketches; your job is to translate them into accurate graded patterns, measurement specs, construction notes, and BOMs that a factory can follow without guesswork.
Key points
• Start early June 2026; first prototypes mid-June, fit revisions through July, final sample sign-off no later than July 31.
• Integrate hammered gold beads as the signature hardware
• Advise on fabric, lining, elastics, and wire types—I’m open to your material recommendations as long as they support comfort and fit.
• Provide digital patterns (Gerber, Clo, or graded DXF/PDF) plus a complete tech pack for each style covering construction steps, stitch types, size chart, grading rules, and hardware call-outs.
Acceptance criteria
1. Patterns sew up true to spec on the first factory strike-off or require only one minor revision round.
2. Underwire cup passes a movement test (no gaping or spillage) across the size range.
3. Mid-rise bottom maintains coverage.
4. Tech packs are fully annotated, layered, and ready for production hand-off.
If you have at least two years dedicated to women’s swimwear and you thrive on perfecting luxury fit, I’d love to collaborate with you on this launch.
