Fashion design tech packs and conversion into physical designs
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
The ideal candidate is a skilled Fashion Designer responsible for both independent design research and the meticulous technical development of provided designs. A key focus is the accurate translation of design concepts into production-ready Tech Packs and the subsequent coordination of physical prototyping until final design approval.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design Research & Trend Analysis:
• Proactively research current and upcoming fashion trends, materials, and design techniques relevant to our brand/product category.
• Present research findings to inform future design direction.
2. Tech Pack Creation:
• Take provided design sketches/concepts and transform them into comprehensive, clear, and accurate Tech Packs.
• Tech Packs must include detailed flat sketches (front/back), construction details, Bill of Materials (BOM), trim/hardware specifications, colorways, and a complete size/spec sheet.
3. Prototyping & Sampling Coordination:
• Coordinate directly with manufacturers/vendors to initiate the physical sampling process based on the approved Tech Pack.
• Manage communication and problem-solving to ensure the prototype aligns perfectly with the technical specifications.
4. Fit & Approval Management:
• Oversee the entire sampling process through to final fit and construction approval.
• Be available for real-time coordination (video call/call) with the manufacturer to resolve any fit or quality issues and secure final design sign-off.
