Fashion Designer and Pattern Maker
Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR
We are looking for a skilled and creative Fashion Designer to join our team. As a Fashion Designer, you will play a key role in the design and development of our upcoming collection of 15 western wear garments. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in fashion design, a passion for creating stylish and unique embellished clothing and Pattern making skills.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct trend forecasting to identify upcoming fashion trends
• Create beautiful illustrations (hand-made/ digital)
• Develop patterns and drape fabrics to bring designs to life
• Work closely with a tailor to create the first samples of each design
• Help source the right fabrics from the Indian market
• Manage the product development process from start to finish
• Ensure that the final product meets the brand's standards of quality and style
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• Strong skills in trend forecasting, illustration, pattern making, and draping
• Experience working with tailors and sourcing fabrics
• Knowledge of the Indian fabric market is highly desirable
• Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
