Custom Heavyweight Rugby Shirt
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’d like to have a custom rugby shirt made--a replica of a Space Shuttle crew shirt from 2009. It was originally supplied from Land's End, but their catalog has dropped the old design, unfortunately.
See the attached image for reference. The finished product would be an exact replica:
• Fabric: navy, heavyweight cotton jersey (around 300-330 gsm), pre-shrunk and soft-washed.
• Stripe: a thick, bold white-burgundy-white panel running horizontally across both chest and back, perfectly matched at the side seams. It does not continue on the sleeves.
• Collar: white, button-down rugby collar with white rubber buttons.
• Fit: true “regular” block—roomy enough for movement but not boxy.
• Embroidery: Serif/Times New Roman text on the left chest, white thread. Exact text is:
