Custom Fightwear Tech Pack Design
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’m developing a new UK-based fightwear line and need a complete, production-ready tech pack for two core pieces: compression T-shirts and MMA shorts that will be produced with full-sublimation printing.
Style & look
I’m after a clean, minimalistic aesthetic. Graphics should be purposely restrained so the garment’s performance elements and colours do the talking.
Performance requirements
Every fabric call-out in the pack must specify breathable yarns with a super-soft hand feel, anti-odor treatment, plus anti-static, anti-shrink, anti-bobble and anti-wrinkle performance. Please include reference GSM, recommended knit structure and finishing processes that reliably deliver those properties.
Sizing guidance
I don’t want to follow a factory’s off-the-shelf blocks. We can base the range around the usual S-XXL ladder, but I’ll need your help defining custom measurements (body length, chest, waist, inseam etc.) so the fit reflects a modern combat-sports silhouette rather than generic activewear.
Workflow
• First stage: supply flat sketches and colour-blocked mock-ups for both garments so I can sign off artwork placement and branding.
• Second stage: once approved, build the full tech pack in Excel and provide a press-ready PDF. Each should include graded measurement tables, BOM, stitch & seam specs, print positions, colour codes, trims, care labels and Pantone references.
• Final stage: hand over all editable files and a short summary sheet that a factory can follow without extra clarification.
I’ll review and proof the designs at each checkpoint to make sure everything is on brief before we close the pack.
If you have proven experience with performance knitwear, sublimation layouts and detailed spec-sheet creation, I’d love to see examples and talk timelines.
