Cross-Platform Forensic Extraction Tool

I have been contracted by a licensed digital-forensics firm to commission a custom tool that covertly acquires evidence from a target’s devices once legally authorised. The application must reach smartphones, tablets and full computers through a lure link (for example a convincingly branded email, SMS or chat message). As soon as a target interacts with the link, the payload should install silently, persist after reboot and begin harvesting the items we are permitted to seize: text messages, complete call logs and all email content.

Compatibility is essential. The mobile component has to operate on current iOS and Android versions, while the desktop agent must run on modern Windows builds. Collected data will need to be encrypted in transit and exfiltrated to a secure dashboard where analysts can view, filter and export admissible evidence. A small-footprint design, minimal battery impact and strong anti-tamper techniques are expected.

• Link-based infection mechanism with configurable lure templates
• Stealth agents for iOS, Android and Windows (smartphone, tablet, computer form factors)
• Backend server with real-time dashboard, sorting tools and export to common forensic formats
• Full source code, build instructions and a brief penetration-resistance report

Acceptance criteria
1. Successful, invisible installation on clean test devices for each platform.
2. Accurate capture of new and historical SMS/iMessage, call history and email content.
3. Secure TLS exfiltration; no detectable network artefacts during routine traffic analysis.
4. Agent remains resident after device reboot and survives standard user updates.
