Fashion Designer & Collection Consultant for Premium Modest Fashion Brand

Description

I own a Canadian modest fashion brand focused on elegant, timeless clothing for Muslim women. I am looking for an experienced fashion designer to work with me on developing seasonal collections manufactured in Indonesia.

This is not just a one-time design project. I am looking for someone who can provide creative direction and help refine my ideas into commercially successful collections.

Responsibilities include:

* Reviewing and improving my garment concepts
* Advising on seasonal colour palettes
* Recommending fabrics suitable for each season
* Ensuring collections are cohesive
* Providing trend insights while maintaining a timeless aesthetic
* Creating sketches or technical drawings when needed
* Advising whether designs are production-ready before manufacturing

The collection will include:

* Modest tops
* Maxi skirts
* Coordinated sets
* Future dresses and outerwear

Preferred experience:

* Women’s modest fashion
* Sustainable and natural fabrics (viscose, linen, cotton, Tencel, bamboo)
* Seasonal collection planning
* Fashion trend forecasting
* Technical garment construction
* Experience working with overseas manufacturers is an advantage
