African print project

I would like to venture into the African fabric market by supplying cotton voile (high twisted , gassed) printed fabrics for Nigerian and other African country market. These are used in various African countries under different names
For the same , I need to understand the requirements / basic fabric construction, pattern (dobby or plain etc) and the prints that work in those market. Subsequently, any value addition i.e Lace, embroideries etc also can be done at a later stage.
A guide to the latest trends etc would be very helpful.
