I’m launching a new line of slip-on sandals for toddlers aged 1–3 and need a footwear specialist to turn my vision into production-ready reality. The sandals must be tough enough for daily play, eye-catching for parents, and—most important—cost-efficient so we can keep the retail price truly affordable.
Here’s the brief:
• Style: strictly slip-on—no Velcro, buckles, or other closures.
• Material: high-quality synthetic throughout for durability, easy cleaning, and consistent pricing.
• Look & feel: bright, kid-friendly colors with a sleek profile that still offers plenty of toe room and grip.
Deliverables I’m expecting:
1. Concept sketches and proposed colorways.
2. Detailed tech pack (material list, size grading, outsole pattern, stitching lines).
3. 3-D renders or CAD files suitable for prototyping.
4. Manufacturing guidance that keeps unit cost down without sacrificing safety or strength.
Acceptance criteria:
• All files in editable formats (AI/PDF for tech pack, OBJ/STL for 3-D).
• Compliance with CPSIA toddler-footwear safety standards.
• An estimated cost breakdown showing we can meet an “affordable” price point at scale.
