Wardo (wardo.app) is a mobile, fashion and makeup styling app. Wardo provides freelance styling services to clients with the assistance of multiple styling tools such as Shopping Lists, Virtual Wardrobe, Lookbooks, Moodboards, etc. Wardo brings the personalisation of styling and makeup with the luxury of quick solutions from the comfort of your home. We believe real, experienced stylists are the key to giving users the thoughtful and high-quality service they deserve. We are looking to grow our team with amazing stylists that are excited to be a part of the future of fashion!
As a Wardo styling expert, you will consult with users online, leveraging your understanding of current trends along with user preferences and specifications. You will be a member of the Wardo expert community of 50+ experts providing 10+ services on our platform.
As a freelance role, this opportunity involves flexible hours and the option of a remote work arrangement. With the option to provide virtual or in-person services and working on your own schedule, Wardo is trying to revolutionise the fashion industry in India. You are compensated for the service you provide to the client based on the amount you decide.
The perfect Wardo stylist:
- Loves fashion and wants to bring that love of fashion to others.
- Has direct, paid experience in personal styling, commercial styling and/or sustainable styling.
- Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.
- Is computer-savvy and generally comfortable with technology, and has access to a reliable laptop and strong internet connection.
- Is adaptable and excited to work on a fast-paced, evolving business.
- Has a positive attitude and looks forward to collaborating with other stylists.
What is required of remote stylists:
- You will provide thoughtful, high-quality styling services and answer general fashion questions from our diverse and growing user base.
- You will undergo the proper onboarding process once selected to be a part of the Wardo community of experts.
- You will set up your expert account on our mobile app with the guidance of the Wardo team.
- You will set your own schedule and keep it up to date based on your availability.
- You will keep up to date on developments with the product and share questions, feedback and ideas with the other stylists and the Wardo team.
To become a Wardo expert, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Is based out of Delhi NCR. We will be expanding to other cities later so you can still apply if you're from other cities in India but we will be getting back to you later, as we expand.
- Is a full-time or part-time professional with at least 1 year of experience doing paid work.
- Has a quality portfolio or social presence with multiple work samples.
- Is modern, creative and on trend with their fashion trends.
- Is highly personable and friendly and knows how to manage and juggle clients.
- Specialises in one or more of the following categories: personal, special event, wedding, campaign/editorial etc.
- Has consented to an ID check to help keep our platform safe for all users.
- Has an active checking or savings account to get paid through the platform.
