Fund Rising for Daughter's Abduction Legal Aid
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I'm seeking a professional to create and promote an online donation platform, dedicated to raising money so that I can hire the appropriate professionals (US and Vietnam Attorneys well versed in child abduction).
My 2 adopted daughters were abducted by my ex-partner over 2 years ago. The US Consulate of Vietnam will not speak with me until I have legal counsel in the US and Vietnam. One of my daughters is 9, but is at least 2.5 years behind in her schooling (her birth-mother was addicted to heroin). My other daughter, age 14, is considered underweight by a doctor in Ho Chi Minh City.
Both girls have not been back to the US in over 2 years and I need to hire experts in international child abduction (or parental interference), real promotion of this crisis to news outlets, etc. They both are suffering emotional trauma (including me) for being apart.
I just need to get my ex-spouse (we were a Gay couple) somehow into a US courtroom so address all of these issues. He remains in Vietnam because he believes he is untouchable by the US Legal System.
I have spent over $100k in legal fees and am tapped out. I have no intention of using any money raised for myself -- only to hire professionals to help guide me bring back my two beautiful daughters that I miss so much.
They need to be evaluated emotionally and helped. I cannot imagine how traumatic this must be for them. I am suffering with never-ending grief.
In addition, my ex needs to follow our parenting plan, included in our Judgement by a paid Judge (as this happened during COVID). He even wrote that the Judgement would be enforceable in Vietnam. But it is not. I do not get health or school records too.
I work in media production and have some skills in IT - but to put together a fund raiser to help bring my daughters home is very emotional for me (and embarrassing to ask for financial help). I would not know where to start with a proper social media setup.
This project involves developing a compelling platform that includes:
- Personal background story of the situation
- Frequent updates on the legal progress.
- Heartfelt photos and videos to highlight the urgency of our need.

I am willing to do anything to bring my girls home. If I had some success, I would have no problem in paying back donators as well.
Also, money is not the most important thing. People that have the skills in family law (especially international law with Communist Vietnam -- that can provide guidance or some time would be invaluable).
I have tried so many things to make people understand this very complicated situation (including the State Department, Consulate, Law Enforcement, FBI) - but I run into brick walls as I cannot spend more money on attorneys.
Being able just to get this horrible tragedy made known to the public could help a lot with our governmental leaders.
