I am looking for a seasoned project manager to assist me in self-publishing my non-fiction book on designing inclusive registration forms. The manuscript is completed. I don't expect you to have all the skills listed below. What I expect you will do is to create freelancer projects for and manage five areas. I will provide budgets and descriptions. You make the magic happen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design of an illustrative cover
- Develop a comprehensive marketing and distribution strategy
- Stand up a WooCommerce accessible WordPress website for the book
- Set up a Kindle edition
- Brainstorm cross-sell and up-sell options and manage those projects when outside contractors are needed
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record in project management, particularly in the publishing industry
- Strong understanding of both design and marketing
- Experience with setting up a self-published book on Kindle
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
