Bau Bau is a contemporary, design-led Italian restaurant in Mt Eliza on the Mornington Peninsula, known for warm hospitality, great food and a strong sense of aesthetic.
We’re looking for a freelancer with proven experience in Instagram growth strategy to help us scale our following to 250,000 — in a way that feels organic, ethical, and authentic to our brand.
What We’re Looking For:
• Demonstrated success growing hospitality, lifestyle, or fashion Instagram accounts to 100K+ followers
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, trending audio, and visual storytelling
• Skills in hashtag strategy, influencer partnerships, and viral content ideation
• Ability to use tools like Later, Metricool, or Meta Business Suite
• Alignment with Bau Bau’s brand tone: elegant, design-forward, never gimmicky
• Bonus if you’re Melbourne-based or familiar with the local scene
Scope:
• Audit of current content and analytics
• Develop a content growth strategy (including Reels and Stories)
• Monthly calendar with ideas for growth-oriented posts
• Community engagement (commenting, replying, DM triage optional)
• Performance reporting and refinement
Duration:
Initial 3-month project with potential for ongoing collaboration
