Advocacy Marketing for Affordable Housing
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 AUD
I am aiming to immediately initiate an intensive 2 month marketing campaign to prevent a proposed change to NSW Planning legislation being introduced that would negatively influencing housing affordability and exacerbate Australia'a worst Housing Crisis.
This campaign's target audience is quite broad, including:
- Renters affected by increasing rent costs
- Elderly individuals searching for Retirement Living or Aged Care options
- Domestic violence victims
- Homeless people
- Young individuals saving for a home deposit
- Anyone seeking Affordable Housing
This campaign will primarily make use of both organic social media and social media ads to get the public to unite against the proposed legislation.
It needs to get a lot of attention fast as a final decision will be made before the end of March 2024.
The ideal freelancer/s for this job would ideally have experience in advocacy or non-profit marketing, expertise in generating strategies that raise awareness and generate leads amongst diverse demographic groups, and have proficiency in managing and executing natural and paid social media campaigns.
Your advanced understanding of housing industry dynamics and related legislation would be an asset but not seesential.
Your ability to be able to gather the public to make a lot of noise and fight for the cause is essential.
Let's join forces to make a positive impact and Save Affordable Homes by stopping the proposed changes to the current legislation.
