Facebook Story Viewer Script
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I want a lightweight JavaScript solution that lets visitors on my WordPress site view Facebook Stories from personal profiles completely anonymously. The final code will drop straight into a custom-code block (no plugin wrapper), so it must be clean, self-contained and easy to maintain.
Here’s what matters most:
• Functionality: the script must fetch and display Stories in real time while masking the viewer’s identity from Facebook. Downloading, tracking or any other extra features are optional only if they don’t compromise anonymity.
• WordPress compatibility: it should run smoothly on a vanilla, up-to-date WordPress install without conflicting with common themes or builders. A short enqueue snippet or clear placement instructions is enough.
• Technologies: vanilla JavaScript (or a minimal ES6 module), solid CSS for responsive display, and any Facebook Graph/API calls handled gracefully. No heavyweight frameworks.
Acceptance criteria
– Anonymous story playback from personal profiles confirmed with a live test profile
– One consolidated .js file plus .css (inline or separate) delivered
– Step-by-step setup guide for insertion into functions.php or a custom snippet plugin
– Clear notes on any API keys, tokens or rate limits involved
If you have prior experience bypassing Facebook’s story-view attribution, understand WordPress’ loading sequence, and can document your work clearly, I’m ready to get started right away.
