Task Document: Coworking Space Booking Details Application
Objective:
Develop a web application for managing coworking space bookings. The application should be built using Node.js for the backend, Express.js as the web framework, React.js for the frontend, and MongoDB as the database.
Features:
1. User Authentication:
– Implement user registration and login functionality.
– Ensure secure authentication and authorization for accessing booking-related functionalities.
2. Dashboard:
– Create a dashboard for users to view their booking history and upcoming reservations.
– Display relevant information such as booking dates, coworking space details, and status.
3. Booking System:
– Allow users to search for available coworking spaces based on location, amenities, and dates.
– Implement a calendar for selecting booking dates and times.
– Users should be able to view details of each coworking space, including available amenities and pricing.
4. Booking Process:
– Enable users to initiate a booking by selecting a coworking space and providing necessary details.
– Implement a confirmation step before finalizing the booking.
– Send email notifications to users for successful bookings and reminders for upcoming reservations.
5. Admin Panel:
– Create an admin panel for managing coworking spaces, user accounts, and bookings.
– Admins should be able to add, edit, or remove coworking spaces and view booking analytics.
6. Payment Integration:
– Integrate a payment gateway to handle online payments for bookings.
– Ensure a secure and seamless payment process.
7. Real-time Updates:
– Implement real-time updates for booking status changes and availability.
– Use websockets or a similar technology for live updates.
