Mobile App for On-Demand Rideshare Service
Budget: ₹75,000 – ₹150,000 INR
I'm looking to develop a mobile app for an on-demand rideshare service. This service will act as a public transportation alternative, allowing riders to book trips within, and sometimes between, designated zones in the County in real-time. The app should be compatible with both iOS and Android platforms.
I would like this to be coded in React Native for both iOS and android mobiles. And JavaScript based technologies like react js, typescript, node js etc adhering to MVC architecture.
Key Features:
- Real-time tracking: Users should be able to track their rides in real-time.
- In-app payments: The app needs to facilitate secure and seamless in-app payments.
- Ride history: Users should have access to their past rides.
- Customer confidentiality: Riders' details should be concealed from the driver until the ride is confirmed.
- Driver revenue analytics: The app should include a feature for drivers to analyze their earnings.
- Ratings and feedback: Both riders and drivers should be able to rate their experience and provide feedback about the ride.
- Driver availability: Provide an option for drivers to set their availability status (online/offline).
- User profiles: Allow users to set up and manage their profiles with personal details, preferences, and payment options.
- Ride scheduling: Allow users to schedule rides in advance.
- Fare estimation: Include a feature for riders to get an estimated fare before booking a ride.
- Promotional offers: Include an option for drivers and riders to benefit from promotional offers and discounts.
- Geofencing: Implement geofencing to notify riders and drivers when they enter or exit designated zones.
- Referral program: Introduce a referral program to encourage users to invite others to the platform.
- In-app chat: Provide an in-app chat option for riders and drivers to communicate directly.
- I want a very small portion of the screen to allow ads for trail users.
- The driver should be able to post their availability in a locality and it should be visible to the customer when they try to book one. So there could be multiple drivers shown for the rider to opt in. For the drivers, they should be able to see only the riders requested location but will not be able to take any step until the rider confirms them
Ideal Skills:
- Extensive experience in developing mobile apps for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Proficiency in implementing real-time tracking systems and secure payment gateways.
- Prior experience in developing rideshare or similar applications would be a significant advantage.
Include an admin panel to manage users and rides. The app should feature a minimalistic design. The app design should include the following elements: elements similar to the GoZone mobile app. Basic user customization options will be included. The selection of third-party services for real-time tracking and payment gateways will be decided by the developer. The app should include an email and password-based registration and authentication system. Please use React Native for developing the app.
