Project Description: Development of Microservices using Express.js and SQL Server
Objective:
The primary goal of this project is to develop a set of microservices with approximately 80 endpoints spread across 6 distinct microservices. These microservices will be written using Express.js and will interact with a SQL Server database. The APIs developed should be asynchronous, secured, and optimized for peak performance.
Scope:
1. Development of Microservices: Design and develop 6 microservices based on the provided database schema. Each microservice will be responsible for a specific set of functions as defined in the requirements.
2. Asynchronous APIs: All endpoints should handle requests asynchronously to ensure non-blocking operations and efficient resource utilization.
3. Database Interaction:
- Set up and maintain connections with the SQL Server database.
- Implement CRUD operations based on the provided schema.
- Ensure optimized and efficient queries to maintain speedy responses even under heavy load.
4. Security:
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure only authorized users can access the endpoints.
- Use industry-standard practices like JWT tokens or OAuth.
- Ensure secure data transfer and storage with encryption mechanisms.
5. Performance Optimization:
