Product Instruction Video Creator
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
We are looking for someone who can take over the task of creating physical product construction videos for us. We design and produce cardboard toy kits for children which are sold primarily in the UK. Link to our products page: https://buildyourownkits.com/products/
The kits come with printed paper instructions which we create in-house, but we also create step-by-step video instructions to help the kids if they have any problems. Click here for examples of past instructional videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KATgrxUiIuE&list=PLDh-ws_GTeOkqpjN1jziRtd7RtedIL0eE
We are looking for someone who can create these step-by-step videos. We create them by literally following the paper instructions and adding in additional hand gestures if needs be to help with the trickier sections or highlighting a particular way round a part should be. We simply use an iPhone and a basic lighting rig, so nothing with a high production value. You would be supplied with a couple of kits so you can first familiarise yourself with the building and then have a pristine kit to create the video.
I should reiterate that this is NOT a 3D rendered step-by-step video, it would be you physically building and videoing the build.
Once you have created the step-by-steps, you would be editing the shots together, adjusting the speed to suit and adding subtitles to further enhance the experience. There is no voice-over, just a music backing track.
We will supply an Adobe Premiere template file that has the beginning and end stings, step numbers and general layout already set.
Overview of requirements:
• To create a physical build step-by-step instruction video
• To be created in the same style as our existing instruction videos including stings etc.
• You must have hands that are suitable for video work. Neat fingernails are preferred!
• Video to be supplied in 4k
• Must be edited in Adobe Premiere
• Work is ad hoc
• Can work from home or in our Eastleigh office
