After Effects AI Explainer Visuals
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I’m building a web-app that teaches the fundamentals of artificial-intelligence concepts in bite-sized, highly visual snippets. I need a motion designer who can take my script notes and storyboards and turn them into short After Effects compositions (10–25 seconds each) that feel engaging, modern, and easy to grasp.
What I’m looking for
• Educational focus: every clip must clearly illustrate one AI idea or workflow step, so viewers understand it without narration.
• Explainer style: simple on-screen text, clean iconography, and smooth transitions that walk the learner from “problem” to “solution”.
• Output flexibility: I’ll embed these inside the app as both MP4 and loopable GIFs, so please optimise colour, file size, and looping points.
• Custom GIF elements: some clips need small animated data points or UI mock-ups that repeat seamlessly; you can create those directly or assemble provided assets.
Typical workflow
1. I share the concept outline and any reference art.
2. You propose a quick storyboard or style frame.
3. Once approved, you build the After Effects project, add motion, and deliver a draft render.
4. We run one round of tweaks for clarity/timing, then you hand over the final render plus the .aep file with organised layers.
Acceptance criteria
• Final video length per concept: 10–25 s
• Resolution: 1920×1080, 30 fps
• File formats: .aep, .mp4 (H.264), looping .gif under 5 MB
• All third-party assets licensed or free for commercial use
If you love crafting clear, stylish micro-explainers and can keep the files lightweight for fast in-app loading, let’s get started.
