Working in a company

I just need a small customization in Excel, there are two columns , one for date and second for category. We only use two categories cat 2 and cat 3 , in front of every date there is either cat 2 or cat 3 ... I want for cat 2 if the date is closer to 12 days it should highlight in red , same form r cat 3 to highlight on red if close to 5 days
