Weekly Excel Bookkeeping & Tax Reports
Budget: £10 – £20 GBP
I maintain a simple, sales-only set of Excel workbooks and need a skilled hand to keep everything neat, balanced and ready for tax season. Each week I’ll drop the latest sales and revenue numbers into a shared folder; you’ll slot them into the existing sheets, reconcile any inconsistencies, and make sure the formulas stay intact.
Once the data is in place, I rely on two clear outputs:
• a concise Profit & Loss statement that reflects the new figures, and
• a tax-ready report formatted the way my accountant expects it.
I’m comfortable with straightforward tables, so please avoid over-complicating the file structure, but feel free to use pivot tables, Power Query or dynamic arrays behind the scenes if it keeps things robust and future-proof. Accuracy is more important than speed; however, a three-day turnaround after each weekly data drop would be ideal.
Deliverables each cycle:
– Updated master workbook with reconciled weekly sales
– Refreshed P&L sheet (print-ready)
– Current tax report exporting cleanly to PDF
If you have a system for simple version control or an idea to automate portions of the workflow, let me know—otherwise, steady hands and sharp Excel skills are exactly what I need.
