We are seeking an experienced freelancer to help us extract, organize, and analyze web data using Excel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in web scraping and be proficient in automating data collection processes. Below are the details of the project:
Project Overview
Objective: Extract relevant data from designated websites and import it into Excel spreadsheets.
Data Sources: Multiple public websites (specific URLs provided upon hire).
Output: Clean, organized, and structured Excel files with all required fields.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement web scraping solutions tailored for Excel.
Automate data extraction using appropriate tools and programming languages (e.g., VBA, Python, or other relevant tools).
Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the scraping process.
Troubleshoot and resolve any data inconsistencies or extraction errors.
Document the process and provide detailed instructions for future updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in web scraping and data extraction.
Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and VBA.
