Visual Basics spreadsheet programming

I don't really understand this stuff so this is what I think I've be told. I have as spreadsheet I developed some years ago and gave to a developer to add all the extra features I wanted. I did not know that embedded the excel spreadsheet if the Visual Basics program. I started to TRY and make changes and likely messed it up further. I need help add my changes and clean up the spreadsheet or if their is a better option to achieve the same thing
