We are an innovative and growing company seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Virtual Data and Analytics Assistant to support our data operations remotely. This role will be key in organizing, analyzing, and reporting on data to drive business decisions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Entry: Compile and input data from various sources into spreadsheets, databases, or analytics platforms.
- Data Analysis: Perform basic to intermediate data analysis, identifying trends, anomalies, and patterns that can inform decision-making.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present data insights clearly and effectively to management.
- Data Cleaning: Ensure data accuracy by identifying and correcting errors, inconsistencies, and gaps in datasets.
- Database Management: Organize and maintain data records and ensure they are kept up-to-date and accessible.
- Support Decision Making: Assist with ad hoc data requests, creating tailored analyses and reports as needed by different departments.
- Market & Competitor Research: Gather and analyze data on market trends and competitors to support business strategy.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a data-related role, such as data entry, analysis, or database management.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet software (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio) is a plus.
- Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate data insights in a clear, concise manner.
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Additional language skills are a plus.
- Comfortable working remotely and independently, with strong time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, economics, or a related field.
- Experience with programming languages for data manipulation (e.g., Python, R) or SQL.
