VBA to retrieve company industry from linkedin

I have a spend database with over 1,000 companies, and for each of those, I need the Industry that appears when you search for the company in LinkedIn. For example, if you search for "apple", the search window will inmediately display "apple . company . consumer electronics". I have a list of companies and I need the "consumer electronics" bit populated in my spreadsheet. I know this can be done with API, just don't have time to figure it out.
