VBA Function for Info-Graphic Points Expansion

I'm building an info-graphic in PowerPoint as part of a slide-building model in Excel VBA which constructs a slide pack of various charts. One particular function is proving to be quite troublesome.
I have an array of 64 points (64,2) forming a curvy 16-point star-shape. I need your assistance in outputting a much larger array of points, say (4096,2), which I can use as input to .addpolyline to form the shape - the outline of my info graphic. Essentially, you will be connecting my 64 points with curves.
I can provide you with a sketch of the shape I need, and a sample array of points to use as input data. What I need from you is one function. You're welcome to use AI to write the code, as long as it works; not many people understand bezier curves etc.
