VBA/Excel Macro Specialist Needed – Convert Service Log Data to CSV for Bubble.io
We are looking for a VBA or Excel Macro specialist to automate the processing of 400–500 service log files into a structured CSV format compatible with Bubble.io. Each file contains 4,000–8,000 line items, requiring automated conversion and formatting.
Scope of Work:
✅ Develop VBA Macros or Excel scripts to transform raw service log data from Google Sheets into Bubble.io-compatible CSV files.
✅ Ensure accurate column mapping based on a predefined data model.
✅ Match employee first names to their unique employee ID from a reference document.
✅ Match service addresses to the correct contract ID (separate lists exist for Snow Plowing & Snow Shoveling).
✅ Handle missing start/end times by assigning a placeholder (12:00 PM) but ensuring the correct service date.
✅ Exclude invalid records (e.g., incomplete service logs marked as “No Svc’d” with no verification).
✅ Ensure two sheets exist within the same Google Sheets file:
• Raw Data (original service logs)
• CSV Formatted Data (processed and formatted for import).
Ideal Candidate:
? Strong experience in VBA, Excel Macros, or Google Apps Script.
? Experience working with large datasets (4,000+ rows per file).
? Attention to detail (data integrity is critical).
? Ability to deliver a scalable, automated solution to process hundreds of files efficiently.
