VBA or M Code for Venue-Team Allocation
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I am in need of a skilled programmer with expertise in VBA or M code within Power Query Editor in Excel. I have data including a list of venues, the distances between these venues, and their capacities, as well as a list of teams and their capacities.
The main goal of this project is to ensure a fair distribution of teams across venues. The code should create two additional venue-team combinations based on an original one without repeating team IDs in the column and ensuring they do not duplicate in the row (at the same venue).
Key requirements:
- The venue capacity can be exceeded by no more than 25 and should not fall short by the same amount.
- There are specific distance limits that need to be adhered to.
- Maximum distance limit per venue-team combination is a critical constraint.
Ideal candidates for this project should have:
- Extensive experience with Excel, VBA, and Power Query.
- Proven track record of creating complex algorithms for data analysis.
- Ability to understand and implement specific constraints and requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in optimizing team distribution and venue allocation.
