User-Friendly Quote Template Overhaul

I have an existing Excel quote sheet that works, but only if the person using it knows their way around the program. Most of my team does not, so I need the file rebuilt to be truly “idiot proof.”
I need an experienced Power Apps + Dataverse developer to convert a complex Excel-based Building Management System (BMS) installation quoting tool into a full business application. The current Excel workbook includes SOR (Schedule of Rates), which populates automatically from an input sheet, labour calculations, materials costing, project budgeting, applications for payment, and standard notes/exclusions.
The goal is to build a fully functional Power Apps system capable of handling quoting, project management, labour/material calculations, PDF output for quotations and applications, excel breakdowns of line items,
This is not a simple form app — it is a structured business system with multiple tables, relationships, and calculation logic.
What I’m after:
• Tighter layout and design with clear section breaks, guided by logical grouping of information.
• Readability upgrades through thoughtful use of colour and shading so the eye is drawn to the right cells immediately.
• Robust, self-checking formulas that calculate totals, taxes, and margins accurately while preventing accidental overwrites.
• A streamlined data-entry process—dropdowns, protected cells, and any other guardrails you recommend—to keep user input consistent and error-free.
