Text-to-Excel Searchable Database
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need my raw text file converted into a clean, user-friendly Excel workbook that can both store and quickly retrieve information. The source file is a straightforward .txt document, yet it holds a mix of dates and monetary amounts that must be captured accurately in separate, well-labeled columns.
Once the data sits in Excel, I want to be able to:
• filter rows by amount ranges (e.g., all entries over $5,000)
• run a simple keyword search across the sheet—ideally through a built-in search box or an easy formula setup—so I can pinpoint any record on demand
A polished layout, frozen headers, and clear formatting are important so future updates remain hassle-free. Please include any lightweight VBA or Power Query steps you feel are necessary; just document them so I can tweak the file later if needed.
Acceptance will be based on:
1. Every date and amount from the text file appearing in the correct columns without mis-alignment.
2. Filters and keyword search working out of the box on first open.
3. No external dependencies beyond standard Excel features (VBA is fine, but no add-ins).
