Tailor a excel spreadsheet

I need this standard excel absence tracker tailored. The .pdf is how I want it to look, with the additional rows. I need to easily be able to update it with the new year's dates every January. If I could also track sick days without altering the vacation day totals, that would be nice. If I could log the sick days but total them separately from vacation days.
